During the second half of January at ISF-2 construction site the following works were carried out:

Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF) :
- Installation of frames for protective windows in room 501 was completed;
- Welding of embedded elements of penetrations for slave manipulators in room 501 was completed;
- Installation of embedded plates for equipment in room 501;
- Mounting of st.steel cladding sheets on walls in room 501;
- Mounting of st.steel cladding sheets on the floor in room 501;
- Construction of F1-xx foundations (axes 2С-2D; 205-206) in room 501 was completed;
- Installation of embedded parts for crane MIS-CR-221 (elev. +28.140) in room 603;
- Installation of crane embedded parts in room IS102C9;
- Erection of crane structural steelwork in room 505A was completed;
- Inspection of the existing fire line fixtures;
- Insulation of hot water supply system pipelines T3, T4 and drinking water pipeline B1 was completed;
- Air ducts installation of CCA ventilation system (intake) of non-attended and periodically attended CAVS-S-1 rooms at elev. +5.600;
- Air ducts installation of CCA ventilation system (exhaust) of non-attended and periodically attended CAVS-E-1 rooms at elev. +5.600;
- Mounting of ventilation systems fire retardant valves at elev. +5.600;
- Installation of chiller into the design position was completed;
- Installation of external fire ladders;
- Installation of lightning protection of the building;
- Facades installation works.

Repair and finishing of Gate house premises;

Installation of equipment (pumps, filters) and pipelines of the sewage treatment facility was completed;

Electric installation works (installation of electrical cabinets, sensors, floats, termination, and grounding) of the sewage treatment facility were completed;

Hydraulic testing of the sewage treatment facility pipelines was carried out;

Hydraulic testing of K1, K15 sewage systems, B1, B2, T3 and T4 pipelines systems was carried out.

Installation of parts of position 5 and position 6 on concrete storage modules. 

The general Сontractor of the project is Holtec Company. Works at the site are performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Konditsioner. 196 people at the total were engaged in work performance. 6 units of excavation and lifting equipment were also used for implementing tasks at the site.

Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:

- Removal of snow and ice from the Arch assembly site;
- Delivery of structural steelwork to the site;
- Installation of Northern garage floor grating (tertiary structures);
- Installation of special doors of the Arch;
- Preparation of secondary and tertiary structural steelwork of the Arch western part for erection;
- Installation of purlins of internal and external cladding;
- Ventilation system (preparation of air ducts for installation, installation of air ducts, supports and scaffolding);

- MCS mounting:
* Reassembly of the East bridge – assembly of structures, installation of electrical part;
* Installation of cable supports and cable ducts inside the Arch Maintenance garage;
* Mounting of MCS crane runways (preparation, adjustment and mounting).

- Arrangement of technological building and auxiliary facilities:
* Technological building (TEC) – walling, roofing (reinforcement, formwork, concreting);
* Electrical Equipment Building (EEB) – installation of cable supports, cable trays, and transformers;
* Fire Subdivision Access Lock (FSAL) – walling (reinforcement, formwork, concreting);
* Firewater pumping station (FWR) – reinforcement of walls of the building;
* Central control room – walling (reinforcement, formwork, concreting). 

- Arrangement of external and internal space of the NSC:
* Outdoor cable routes;
* Outdoor, underground utility systems.

- Installation and concreting of penetrations elements at elev. +8.500 (3 pcs.) and at elev. +11.700 (1 pcs.) was completed;

Post-completion and turn-over documentation selection for delivery of works of relevant stages according to the Contract.

Development of testing programs for process units and systems.
