Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):
- The installation of the IAEA shield equipment continues.
- Backfilling of lead shot protective door SFP-SD-06.
- Re-install the valves of LRW pipelines.
- Marking of technological pipelines in the building of SFPF.
- Work continues on assembling the electrical cabinet of the crane CR-04. Launching of cable lines.
- Finished installation of the crosshead on the crane SFP-CR-01.
- Finished installation of local fire-extinguishing means in electrical cabinets.
- Work continues on fire protection of cable lines.
The following activities were also performed at the facility:
- Regular works on the construction site arrangement, such as: weeding of gravel coatings, grass cutting, irrigation, maintaining clean asphalt coverings.
- Compilation of executive and hand-over documents.
- Development of test programs for technological units and systems.
- Development of a training program for Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant personnel.
- Commissioning on main technological equipment and auxiliary.
- Finished individual tests of baskets in the room 109B/111B.
- Finished functional tests of hoists MIS-CR 14, MIS-CR-06 SFP-CR-301, PWS-CR-301\1, PWS-CR-301\2.
- Individual (Autonomous) tests of PCMS DWC Handling System, FT Handling System, SRW Management System.
- Individual tests of the security door SWP-SD-01.
- Individual tests of the ISNT-2 autonomous power supply system;
- Individual tests of the system "Emergency lighting of SFPF";
- Integrated testing on PPS have been started;
- Individual and complex testing of outdoor lighting PSC;
- Integrated testing tests of RMS;
- Integrated testing of the Sewerage and Sewage Systems (Removing Remarks);
- Test Barrel monitoring station (CBC), Sub-Canberra.
The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 192 persons were engaged in the works. 1 unit of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.
