Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):
- Adjustment and preparation bridge crane SFP-CR-11 for functional tests.
- Installation of sub-crane rail of arm hoist.
- Installation of arm hoist MIS-CR-250.
- Installation of concrete insert for arm hoists.
- Re-installation of the rack in prem. 304.
- Electrical and installation work to install automation boards and FFS equipment sensors, installation of cable tracks.
- Installation of cable routs for IAEA equipment.
- Finishing of premises.
- Technological pipelines labeling.
- Pre-commissioning works on the main technological equipment and auxiliary systems.
- Adjustment of the video observation system for the technological process of TK-8 system.
- Individual tests of the protective sliding door SFP-SD-212.
- Individual tests of the hot cell lighting system.
- Functional tests of SFP-CR-11 bridge crane.
The following activities were also performed at the facility:
- Installation of steel structures of the structural addition for balloons.
- Installation of a round driveway (road covering) on the site of a tower crane.
- Laying a compressed air pipeline on the cartridges store.
- Regular works on the construction site arrangement, such as: weeding of gravel coatings, grass cutting, irrigation, maintaining clean asphalt coverings.
- Compilation of executive and hand-over documents.
- Development of test programs for technological units and systems.
- development of a training program for Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant personnel.
- Individual (independent) tests of FPS systems.
- Individual tests of protective sliding doors SFP-SD-03 and SFP-SD-04 have been completed.
- Individual testing of 200-liter drums transportation system SWP-CR-222 (prem. IS102C7 / IS102C2) has been completed.
- Individual tests of the security windows SFP-SW-05 and SFP-SW-06 (premises 504/501) have been completed.
- Individual test of the indoor lighting system have been completed.
- Individual (independent) tests of FPS systems — central and back-up panels are underway.
- Individual tests of hot cells HCVS-S and HCVS-E ventilation system have been started.
- Individual tests of protective sliding doors SFP-SD-07 and SFP-SD-08 have been started.
The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 264 persons were engaged in the works. 5 units of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.
