Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):
- Development of work performance projects (technological sheets) for fire retention sealing of the penetrations.
- Unloading of the equipment and materials, equipment delivery into the installation area.
- Modification of the bridge crane SFP-CR-11 in the prem. 501 — installation of the electrical part is underway.
- Modification of the bridge crane SFP-CR-07 in the prem. 305 — installation of the electrical part completed.
- Modification of the gantry crane SFP-CR-08 in the prem. 305 — installation of the electrical part is underway.
- Electrical installation work on crane SWP-CR-206 in the prem. 403 and cables disconnection.
- Installation of electrical part — bridge crane MIS-CR-221 (prem 603).
- Installation of embedded parts for manual lifting tackles in SFPF building.
- Installation of main process equipment:
* Installation of refrigeration supply system in the caisson 107c (connetion to CAV-RS-13, CAV-RS-14, CAV-RS-01).
* Installation of pipelines of the technological blowdowns system in SFPF.
* Installation and wiring work on SFPF equipment pinout.
* Installation of a stationary high-pressure apparatus Kärcher is completed.
* Modification of the mounting seat for the protective lid of the canister manipulation and transportation (CMTS) system — manufacturing of the components for modification, dismantling of the existing metal structures.
* Installation of power and control cables of BNG equipment.
- Laying and pinout of BNG lighting cables in the SFPF premises.
- Works on the installation openings closing in prem. 603 — roof arrangement.
The following activities were also performed at the facility:
- Finishing of the SFPF building premises.
- Installation of fore-roof metal structures for pressure vessels.
- Compilation of executive and hand-over documentation.
- Development of testing programs for technological units and systems.
- Development of training programs for the Customer's personnel.
- Theoretical training for the personnel.
- Pre-commissioning work on the cutting facility, RMS system, chemically demineralized water system and ventilation system.
- Completion of individual tests of the lock for small-sized elements (LSE) SWP-TD-221.
- Individual testing of the hot cell filters CAV-FR-213 and lids of wells No. 1 & 3 (SFP-CG-212, SFP-CG-213).
The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 268 persons were engaged in the works. 4 units of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.
