Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):
- Installation of Technological Process Monitoring and Control System (TP MCS) cabinets.
- Mounting of cable routing structures within the SFPF building premises.
- Cable routing within the SFPF building premises.
- Installation of lighting system of SFPF building.
- Installation of supports for lighting and video surveillance systems in “hot cell”, prem. 501.
- Delivery of main process equipment to the installation area – master-slave manipulators, double lid system for handling of 200-l drums, drum transportation systems, suction devices.
- Installation of main process equipment:
* Installation of shielding door SFP SD 211 (prem. 307).
* Gateways of small-sized elements SFP TD 220/221 were installed (welding works) into the design position (501/504).
* Caisson MIS-CE-213 was installed (welding works) in prem. 501.
- Iinstallation of shielding windows SFP-SW-05, SFP-SW-06 and SFP-SW-07 in prem. 501.
- Refurbishment works for the existing equipment:
* Shielding door SD-04 was painted in prem. 503/501.
* Preparatory works for Canister Transport Handling System (CHTS).
- Installation of control cabinets for ventilation system fire protection valves.
- Installation of internal protective grounding of SFPF building.
- Installation of video cameras at the building.
The following activities were also performed at the facility:
- Installation of supports for video cameras at the SFPF building.
- Installation of PPS security gate near the CSM — the gate leaf was installed into its design position.
- Works on construction of foundations for the PPS lightning protection stands.
- Soldering of optic cable from ZVSB to Control Panel 1 in the checkpoint prem. 203 and along the PPS perimeter
- Completing of as-built documents and deliverables for handing-over the relevant stages in accordance with the Contract.
- Development of testing programs for process units and systems and training programs for the Client’s personnel.
- Individual tests of FT lifting device SFP-TD-211 were completed.
The General Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, “Kranservis”, “Konditsioner”. In total 198 persons were engaged in the works, as well as 7 units of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines.
