During the first half of November the following works were performed at ISF-2 construction site:
Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):
-Startup finishing operations (plastering) in premises at elevations +17.000; +21.000;
-Installation of the slab MS6-2 at elevation +26.000 (over rooms 706; 704);
-Installation of external fire ladders and staircases;
-Cladding of rooms -106, -105 at elevation -3.400 was completed;
-Cladding works of rooms 111А, 111В, 305;
-Installation of brick partition walls at elevation +17.000;
-Installation of penetrations embedded elements in room 501;
-Drilling of holes for penetrations in room IS102C6;
-Air ducts installation of CCA ventilation systems (inflow) of non attended and periodically attended rooms CAVS-S-1 at elev. +2.800;
-Installation of the vent stack lower part was completed;
-Installation of pipelines of water supply systems B1, T3, T4;
Gate house:
-Repair and finishing of premises;
-Installation of cable structures of power supply systems of the 1st floor;
-Works on arrangement of lighting system of the 1st floor.
Physical Protection System (PPS):
-Power supply unit for PPS equipment – installation of cable pits, pipes for cable ducts, except for the parking areas of KB-408 tower crane and DEC, was completed;
-Installation of operating and backup power supply system (in ducts, in trench) for security lighting of the site perimeter;
-Installation and connection of lighting posts, lamps;
-Restoration of fences (installation of new posts) of PPS perimeter;
-Installation of shields SHAVR1-5 was completed;
-Road 2 construction work was completed.
The general Сontractor of the project is Holtec Company. Works are carried out at the site by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Promkomplekt, UTEM-KRANSERVIS. 234 people at the total were engaged in work performance. To perform tasks at the site, 10 units of earthmoving and lifting equipment were also used.
