On April 16 at Chornobyl NPP Acting Director General was replaced. Now this post is held by Volodymyr Pieskov, who previously was SSE ChNPP’s Deputy Technical Director (for Operation).

Decree on his assignment was signed based on the Charter of SAUEZM, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 564 and taking into account requirements of Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Licensing Activities in the Field of Nuclear Energy Use".
