Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:
- Technological building and auxiliary facilities:
* Technological building (TB) — work associated with arrangement of the facade of the building eastern part, installation of cable ducts, cabling are underway. Crane beams for the 20 ton crane are being installed. Reassembly of 20 ton crane. The crane has been lifted to the design reference mark. Installation of Fire Alarm System. Works inside the building on polishing, priming, filling up with putty, pouring, painting of floors, walls and ceilings are underway. Installation of internal pipelines, systems, steel structures. Installation of doors;
* Electrical Equipment Building (EEB) — installation of Fire Alarm System. Installation of cable ducts, cable laying;
* Access Gateway for Fire brigades — installation of internal networks pipelines, installation of the equipment and doors;
* Fire Extinguishing Pump Station — installation of fire pipelines, installation of doors;
* Storm Water Dispersal Plant — activities on water drawdown and foundation construction, dewatering of the site sump. The tanks of dispersal plant are being installed.
- Works on arranging the NSC internal and external space:
* Installation of fire fighting and drinking water pipelines;
* Arrangement of Arch end walls;
* Arrangement of the temporary storage area within the main volume of building to the east of the Process Building;
* Arrangement of the area for southern gallery of articulated supports near the turbine hall;
* Construction of roads in Local zone — 64%.
- Erection of Arch steelwork:
* Installation of the following main systems:
• Power supply system;
• Ventilation, gas purification and conditioning;
• Fire safety system;
• Water supply and sewerage system;
• Communication and industrial TV system;
• Physical protection and access control system;
• Integrated management and control system;
• System of internal and transport connection;
• Radiation monitoring system;
* The Contractor is arranging the system of MCS trolleys moving to the northern garage. The MCS control cabinets are being installed in the central control room;
* Work is underway to install the small LLD in PB;
* Activities on exterior and interior facing are drawing towards completion;
* Preparation for installation and installation of sealing anchors on the roof of PB and Access Gateway for Fire Brigades;
* Installation of the sealing membrane is underway.
