Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:
- Pre-assembling and installation of Western end wall gangways;
- Installation and tightening of bolts at the junction area of West and East halfs of the Arch
- Completing and assembly of cladding purlines;
- Preliminary erection and assembly of steel plating packages for cladding, as well as laying of heat insulating material, assembly of EPDM membrane, assembly of bearing clip and Kalzip panels;
- Assembly of scaffolding and preparation of air ducts for assembling, assembly of air ducts of the Arch ventilation system;
- Installation of Main Cranes System elements (west bridge, classic carriage, secure carriage)
- Arrangement of technological building and auxiliary facilities:
* Technological building (TB) – walling, roofing and arranging the building columns (assembly of fittings and formwork, concreting, concrete curing);
* Electrical device building – roofing (preparatory works, assembly of fittings and formwork);
* Fire units acces airlock (concrete curing).
- Arrangement of external and internal space of NSC (northern side):
* Storm and fire extinguishing water catchment basins;
* Arch end walls
* Outdoor underground services.
Assembly of metal structures of Western half of the Arch:
Metal structures assembled in total – 14,554.3 tons
Assembly of metal structures of Eastern half of the Arch:
Metal structures assembled in total – 14,109.268 tons
Joining of West an East halfs of the Arch was completed on July 24, 2015. Bolt tightening is in process.
