Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:
- Pre-assembling and installation of Western end wall gangways;
- Completing and assembly of cladding purlines;
- Preliminary erection and assembly of steel plating packages for cladding, as well as laying of heat insulating material, assembly of EPDM membrane, assembly of bearing clip and Kalzip panels;
- Assembly of scaffolding and preparation of air ducts for assembling, assembly of air ducts of the Arch ventilation system;
- Installation of Main Cranes System elements (west bridge, standard trolley, safety trolley)
- Arrangement of technological building and auxiliary facilities:
* Technological building (TB) – walling, roofing and arranging the building columns (assembly of fittings and formwork, concreting, concrete curing);
* Electrical device building – roofing (preparatory works, assembly of fittings and formwork);
* Fire units acces airlock (concrete curing).
- Arrangement of external and internal space of NSC (northern side):
* Storm and fire extinguishing water catchment basins;
* Arch end walls
* Outdoor underground services.
Assembly of metal structures of Western part of the Arch:
Metal structures assembled in total – 14,547.8 tons
Assembly of metal structures of Eastern part of the Arch:
Metal structures assembled in total – 14,109.268 tons
Works on joining together the West and the East halves of the Arch were finished on July 24. The main moving of the Arch East half towards the West one up to the minimum gap, between the end parts of main metal structures (20-30 mm), was performed by afternoon of July 23. Adjustment and geodetic survey of the Arch East half’s position was made.
