During the first half of August 18, 2016 at ISF-2 construction site the following works were carried out:

Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):
- Development of work execution plans (flow diagrams) for installation of equipment and systems;
- Mounting of cable routing structures within SFPF building premises;
- Cable routing within SFPF building premises;
- Installation of SFPF building lighting system;
- Installation of self-leveling floors in SFPF premises;
- Laying of active drainage pipes of LRW system;
- Pipe laying of RAW level monitoring tanks;
- Installation of gates MIS-LD-04 in premise 114/119 of SFPF building;
- Installation of gates MIS-LD-0 in premise 107 of SFPF building;
- Installation of doors Tornado in SFPF building;
- Installation of pipelines (pipework) for compressors of compressed air system;
- Corrosion protection and pipe covering of cold supply system;
- Installation of equipment for ventilation systems;
- Installation of main process equipment – welding works on lifting device for SFP-TD-211S;
- Electrical fitting works relating to DPP (cabinet wiring, power cabling).

Concrete storage modules (CSM):
- Installation of imbedded items for CSM temperature monitoring.

The following activities were also performed at the facility:
- Twisted pair cabling from transducer locations to physical protection system (PPS) cabinets;
- Routing of optic cable along the perimeter of PPS;
- Reinstallation of PPS security gates – construction of new foundations from the direction of Gate House;
- Development of testing programs for process units and systems.

The general Сontractor of the project is Holtec Company. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. 179 people at the total were engaged in work performance.  6 units of earth-moving machinery, lorry, and lifting machines were used for implementing tasks at the site.

Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:
- Supply of metal structures to the site;
- Mounting of hydraulic jacks for Arch sliding;
- Mounting of sliding system control module, inspection and assembling of equipment for Arch sliding;
- installation of sealing membrane anchors along the end wall
- Installation of special doors of the Arch;
- Installation of sealing membrane of swing panels;
- Installation of protective shielding of North Garage;
- Pre-assembling and mounting of rolling doors of North Garage;
- Installation of external and internal casing. Progress - 98%;
- Ventilation system (preparing the air ducts for installation, installation of air ducts, installation of supports and scaffolding, preparing the North Ventilation Center (NVC) for installation of ventilation equipment). Progress - 91%;
- preparation for installation and welding of Arch ventilation stack elements.

- Main Cranes System (MCS) installation:
* Adjusting the crane beams and rails;
* Preparing the MCS bridges for rerolling to west side of the Arch;
* Adjusting and connecting MCS control panels.

- 25t crane for MCS Maintenance garage:
* Installation of electrical crane equipment.

- Arrangement of technological building and auxiliary facilities:
* Technological building (TEC) – works relating to polishing, pre-coating, coating and painting of walls and ceilings inside the building, installation of doors, installation of dividing walls of gas blocks, roof sealing. Progress (construction part) - 97%;
* Electrical Equipment Building (EEB) – installation of fire alarm system within premises, mounting of cable supports and trays, installation of supports and pipes of fire-preventive and drinking water supply;
* Access gateway for fire brigades – roof sealing, polishing, pre-coating, coating and painting of walls and ceilings inside the building, installation of doors;
* Fire pump station (FPS) – works relating to pre-coating, coating and painting of walls inside the building;
* Site of diesel power plant for power supply – laying the electrical cables and connecting diesel generators, installation of equipment.

- Arrangement of internal and external space of the NSC:
* Outdoor cable routes;
* Outdoor and underground utility systems;
* Storm water catching basins;
* Construction of roads in Local zone - 23,5%.

Erection of Arch western part steelwork:
Erected in total – 15,951.41 t

Erection of Arch eastern part steelwork:
Erected in total – 14,265.62 t
