Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):

- Development of work execution plans (flow sheets) for installation of equipment and systems.
- Unloading of equipment and materials, supply of equipment to the installation area.
- Switching of the system of process control and technological management box.
- Mounting of cable routing structures for PPS, AMS and RMS
- Cable routing.
- Installation of main process equipment:
     * Completion of work on upgrading of the security doors SFP-SD-08 in the room 403 / IS 102 C6, filling with lead shot.
     * Modification of the bridge crane in the room 305 SFP-CR-07 - dismantling of mechanical and electrical components.
     * Modification of the bridge crane in the room 501/603 SFP-CR-11- dismantling of mechanical and electrical components.
     * Installation of the crane construction for maintenance with loading capacity 5t MIS-CR-240 in the room IS102C9.
     * Installation of the master-slave manipulator SFP-TM-227 in the room 501/506.
     * Dismantling and replacement of the high pressure hoses of hydraulic system and driving mechanism of the canister handling and transportation system
     * Installation of power and control cables of BNG equipment.
- Installation of ducts, cabling, connection of fireproof ventilation valve control system boxes — installation of fire fighting system pipelines.
- Works on RMS gas-aerosol monitoring systems.
- Installation of the equipment and cable lines of the fire alarm and evacuation control system.
- Closing of the installation openings in the room 605 — complete arrangement of covering plate  MS-5-2 at the level +20.800 is completed.
- Arrangement of new laboratory in the premise 201.

The following activities were also performed at the facility:

- Connection of video cameras, optical cable soldering, assembly of physical protection systems elements.
- Completing of as-built documents and deliverables for handing-over the relevant stages in accordance with the Contract.
- Development of testing programs for process units and systems and training programs for the Client’s personnel.

The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 183 persons were engaged in the works. 3 units of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.

     * Works on modification of shielding door SFP-SD-08 in prem. 403/IS 102 C6.
     * Assembling of racks for 200-l drums.
     * Installation of the docking device TK-8 cup.
     * Installation of crane structures for maintenance, 5 t load-carrying capacity MIS-CR-240 in prem. IS102C9.
     * Installation of power supply and control cables of BNG equipment.
     * Mounting of ducts, cable laying, connection of control cabinets for ventilation system fire protection valves.
- Supply and installation in the design position of the hot chamber ventilation system equipment.
- Works on RMS gas-aerosol monitoring systems.
- Installation of FGD pipelines.
- Installation of equipment and cable lines of the fire alarm and evacuation control system.

The following activities were also performed at the facility:

- Connecting video cameras and soldering of optic cable from ZVSB to Control Panel 1 at the checkpoint.
- Completing of as-built documents and deliverables for handing-over the relevant stages in accordance with the Contract.
- Development of testing programs for process units and systems and training programs for the Client’s personnel.

The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 152 persons were engaged in the works. 3 units of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.

Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:

- Technological building and auxiliary facilities:

* Technological building (TB) — works related to mounting the face of the eastern part of the building are underway. Works related to the installation of cable trunks, cable laying. Electrical installation works related to the installation of 20-ton crane. Installation of fire alarm system. Works related to polishing, pre-coating, coating, pouring and painting of floors, walls and ceilings inside the building. Installation of internal supply pipelines, systems and steel structures. Installation of doors;
* Electrical Equipment Building (EEB) — works related to installation of fire alarm system. Installation of cable trunks supports, cable laying;
* Fire Units Access Lock (FSAL) — installation of internal supply pipelines, systems, steel structures. Installation of the foundation base for sliding doors;
* Fire Extinguishing Pump Station — installation of foundations for pump equipment.

- Works on arranging the NSC internal and external space:

* Installation of fire fighting and drinking water pipelines;
* Heat insulation of pipelines of external utilities rack;
* Construction of roads in Local zone — 36%.

- Erection of Arch steelwork:

* Pre-assembly and preparation of flashing anchors for installation;
* Preparation of northern (NVC) and southern (SVC) ventilation centers for installation of ventilation equipment. Installation of ventilation equipment piping in NVC and SVC.

* Technological building (TB) — works related to repair of concrete surfaces, polishing, pre-coating, coating and painting of walls and ceilings inside the building. Works on mounting of the building face are underway.

- Activities on closing the tilting panel TP-2:

* Preparation of northern (NVC) and southern (SVC) ventilation centers for installation of ventilation equipment; 
* Installation of ventilation equipment piping in NVC and SVC.

- Works on arranging the NSC internal and external space:

* Site cleanup, cleaning of passing routes;
* Reorganization of the Free Access Area (FAA) for a storage area for structures and equipment.
