Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):
- Unloading of the equipment and materials, equipment transfer into the installation area.
- Installation of cable products of АC and RMS in SFPF building premises.
- Modification of the bridge crane SFP-CR-07 and gantry crane SFP-CR-08 in the room p. 305 — electrical works.
- Modification of the bridge crane SFP-CR-11 in the room 501/603 — replacement of mechanical and electrical components.
- Modification of the bridge crane SFP-CR-01 in prem. 119 — replacement of the electrical components.
- Electrical and installation work on modification of the protective hatch in the prem. IS102C6 of SFPF building.
- Installation of main process equipment:
* Installation of the docking device TK-8.
* Installation of the SFP-TT-210 table in prem. 501 (the welding of the table lining is completed), geodetic acceptance of the installed elements.
* Installation of power and control cables of BNG equipment.
* Rerouting and installation of air ducts and fire retardant valves for rev. 12 ventilation in SFPF building.
* Assembling of stainless ducts in the joints and air ducts installation in prem. 606, 606A.
* Installation of cable routes in premise 405 for air-supply ventilation in automation system.
- Works in gas-aerosol control systems in RMS.
- Work on installation openings closure in the prem. 705 — roof arrangement.
The following activities were also performed at the facility:
- Completion of the staircase C3-1 installation.
- Fiber optic cable soldering, connection of PPS system sensors.
- Installation of PPS lightning protectors.
- Compilation of executive and hand-over documentation for the corresponding stages delivery according to the Contract.
- Development of testing programs for technological units and systems.
- Theoretical training for the Employer’s personnel.
The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 305 persons were engaged in the works. 4 units of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.
