Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):

- Unloading of the equipment and materials, equipment transfer into the installation area.
- Laying of cables of Radiation Control System system’s at rooms of the SFPF.
- Work on the modification of the bridge crane SFP-CR-01 in the room 119 — continue replacement of  electrical parts.
- Continue replacement of  electrical parts of Crane SFP-CR-220.
- Concreting of the protective hatch in room IS102C6 building.
- Works on installation of crane CR-220 in the prem. 504 of SFPF building.
- Completed restoring the cladding around the docking device to room 501.
- Installation of main process equipment:
     * Installation of bottom frame of the caisson 107c.
     * Installation of the main technological equipment — continue work on the electrical part of tableSFP-TT-210 in room 501.
     * Completed sealing of protective windows SFP-SW-03 room 111A / 307A and SWP-SW-02 room IS102C6 / IS102C5.
     * Completed reinstallation of the mechanism for opening the cover of the container CR-205.
     * Completed welding of plates of Drum Measurement Station SWP-GD-201.
     * Installation of equipment FGD in the room 505 A.
     * Installation of pipelines FGD in the rooms 505 A and 505 B.
     * Continued assembly of tanks.
     * Installation of power distributing nets and electric equipment BNG.
- Works on gas-aerosol control of RMS system in the SFPF building.
- Work on installation openings closure in the prem. 705 — completed roofing installation.
- Work on installation openings closure in the prem. S102c9 — construction of parapet.
- Work on installation openings closure in the prem. 603 — work by building walls.

The following activities were also performed at the facility:

- Restoration of the facade from the staircase C 3-1.
- Installation of lightning conductors of PPS.
- Construction of an armory room in the Gate House.
- Installation of embedded parts for Borescope.
- Completing of executive & acceptance documentation for the handover of relevant stages according to the Contract.
- The development of test programs of technological components and systems.
- Preparation of Employer’s personnel training programmers.
- Theoretical training of Employer’s personnel.
- Commissioning of the machine cutting, Radiation Control System.

The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 273 persons were engaged in the works. 4 units of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.

Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:

- Technological building and auxiliary facilities:

 * Technological building (TB) — work on arrangement of the facade of the building eastern part, installation of cable ducts, cabling are underway.  Preparation for crane beam installation for the 20 ton crane. Reassembly of 20 ton crane. Installation of Fire Alarm System. Works inside the building on polishing, coating, putty, painting of floors, walls and ceilings are underway. Installation of internal pipelines, systems, steel structures. Installation of doors;
* Electrical Equipment Building (EEB) — installation of Fire Alarm System. Installation of cable ducts, cable laying;
* Access Gateway for Fire brigades – installation of internal networks pipelines, installation of the equipment and doors;
* Fire Extinguishing Pump Station — installation of fire pipelines, installation of doors.

- Works on arranging the NSC internal and external space:

* Installation of fire fighting and drinking water pipelines;
* Construction of roads in Local zone — 53,6%.

- Erection of Arch steelwork:

* Installation of the following main systems:
  • Power supply system;
  • Ventilation, gas purification and conditioning;
  • Fire safety system;
  • Water supply and sewerage system;
  • Communication and industrial TV system;
  • Physical protection and access control system;
  • Integrated management and control system;
  • System of internal and transport connection;
  • Radiation monitoring system;
* Contractor also performs installation of the MCS trolleys moving system in the northern garage. Work is underway to install the small lifting devices in the technological building;
* Completion of the works on exterior and interior facing;
* The work on hydraulic jacks and sliding ways dismantling is completed;
* Preparation for installation and installation of sealing anchors. Installation of the sealing membrane is underway.

Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):

- Modification of the bridge crane SFP-CR-11 in the premise 501/603 — replacement of mechanical part and electrical works are underway.
- Modification of the bridge crane SFP-CR-01 in prem. 119 — replacement of the electrical components.
- Installation of SFP-CR-240 crane beams in the prem. IS 102c9.
- Works on installation of crane CR-220 in the prem. 504 of SFPF building.
- Modification of the protective hatch in the prem. IS102C6 of SFPF building is compleated.
- Installation of main process equipment:
     * Installation of the main process equipment — installation of the docking device TK-8 in the design position.
     * Installation of the main process equipment — installation of the SFP-TT-210 table in prem. 501 (the mechanical part) is completed, the electrical equipment installation is underway.
     * Installation of FFS equipment in premise 505 A in SFPF building.
     * Installation of FFS pipelines in premise 505 A and 505B in SFPF building.
     * Continuation of the LRW tanks assembly.
     * Installation of power and control cables of BNG equipment.
- Works on gas-aerosol control of RMS system in the SFPF building.
- Work on installation openings closure in the prem. 705 — roof arrangement.
- Work on installation openings closure in the prem. S102c9 — roof casing.
- Work on installation openings closure in the prem. 603 — preparatory work for a wall building up.

The following activities were also performed at the facility:

- Installation of PPS lightning protectors.
- Arrangement of fore-roof for balloons - cutting of compensation joint in a floor slab.
- Compilation of executive and hand-over documentation for the corresponding stages delivery according to the Contract.
- Development of testing programs for technological units and systems.
- Development of training programs for the Employer’s personnel.
- Pre-commissioning work at the cutting facility, RMS system are underway.
