Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):

- Installation of concrete insert for arm hoist.
- Re-installation of the rack in prem. 304 have been completed.
- Termination and adjustment of automation cabinets of CMDandA and FGDS equipment, disassembling metrological calibration detectors.
- Installation of cable routs for IAEA equipment, IAEA equipment installation is underway.
- Finishing of premises.
- Technological pipelines labeling.
- Installation of a new pump for chemically demineralised water (ChDW) has been completed.
- Checking of the spatial position of the sliding holder has been completed.
- The cutting machine positioning is checked.
- Installation of video surveillance system monitors has been completed.
- Installation of electromagnetic locks on the Tornado doors have been completed.
- Installation of security grids in air ducts.
- Installation of primary fire extinguishing equipment has started.

The following activities were also performed at the facility:

- Installation of sliding plates in CSM modules is underway.
- Regular works on the construction site arrangement, such as: weeding of gravel coatings, grass cutting, irrigation, maintaining clean asphalt coverings.
- Installation of scaffolding, electrical work at the structural addition for balloons.
- Compilation of executive and hand-over documents.
- Development of test programs for technological units and systems.
- Development of a training program for Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant personnel.
- Pre-commissioning and adjustment works on the main technological equipment and auxiliary systems.
- Adjustment of the video observation system for the technological process.
- Functional tests of the bridge crane SFP-CR-04 in prem. 304.
- Functional tests of the console crane SFP-CR-06 in prem. 304.
- Individual tests of protective windows SW-03 and SW-04.
- Individual (independant) tests of physical and radiation control systems are underway.

The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 259 persons were engaged in the works. 1 unit of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.

Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:

- Erection of Arch steelwork:

* Installation of the following main systems:
   • Power supply system;
   • Ventilation, gas purification and conditioning;
   • Fire safety system;
   • Water supply and sewerage system;
   • Communication and industrial TV system;
   • Physical protection and access control system;
   • Integrated management and control system;
   • System of internal and transport connection;
   • Radiation monitoring system;
* Work to test the main cranes is underway;
* Completion of work on external and internal cladding arrangement;
* Arch ventilation system (installation of air ducts and ventilation equipment in the north ventilation centre, south ventilation centre and technological building);
* Works on installation of the sealing membrane are underway.

- Technological building and auxiliary facilities:

* Technological building (TB) — work on arrangement of the eastern part of the building façade is close to completion. Installation of the cable ducts, cable laying. 20 ton crane in prem 123 was tested. Installation of a fire alarm system. Installation of ventilation system air ducts. Work on grinding, pre-coating, coating, pouring, painting of floors, walls and ceilings inside the building. Installation of internal networks pipelines, systems, metal constructions;
* Electrical Equipment Building (EEB) — installation of the Fire Alarm System, installation and connection of new transformers installation of electrical equipment. Installation of hot water supply and heat supply systems has started;
* Access Gateway for Fire brigades — installation of internal pipelines networks, arrangement of the external facade;
* Fire Extinguishing Pump Station — electrical work is underway;
* Sewage treatment facilities and pump station of storm water drainage — installation of treatment facilities tanks. Back filling of sand with a layer-by-layer compaction. Work to prepare the foundation under reservoirs of absorption filters is underway.

- Works on arranging the NSC internal and external space:

* Installation of fire and household water supply pipelines;
* Arrangement of the southern gallery hinged bearing near the Turbine Hall: delivery, assembly and installation of fire extinguishing towers; works are carried out to install the design site fencing from the pioneer wall side, water removing tray dismantling;
* Preparatory work before the Turbine Hall roof dismantling;
* Construction of roads in Local zone — 79%.

- Individual tests of protective sliding doors SFP-SD-07 and SFP-SD-08 have been started.

* Fire Extinguishing Pump Station — works on the electrical cables laying and installation of lighting and alarm system equipment;
* Sewage treatment facilities and pump station of storm water drainage — work on water level lowering  and foundation arrangement. Installation of treatment facilities tanks.

- Works on arranging the NSC internal and external space:

* Installation of fire and household water supply pipelines;
* Arrangement of the southern gallery hinged bearing near the Turbine Hall: delivery, assembly and installation of fire extinguishing towers; works are carried out to install the design site fencing from the pioneer wall side, water removing tray dismantling;
