Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:
- Delivery to the site and completing the basic structures of Western part of the Arch;
- Assembling of basic structures of Western part of the Arch load transfer to the foundation after first jacking of the Western part of Arch);
- Dismantling of Arch jacking system, preparation for the lifting towers moving;
- Preliminary assembling of casing panels;
- Assembling of external and internal casing;
- Delivery and assembly of galvanized air ducts, ducts installation in the annular space of Western part of Arch<;
- Arrangement of the service zone foundations (foundation frame of Southern trench);
- Isntallation of CFA piles of service area foundation (Southern trench);
- Arrangement of engineering building and auxiliary facilities. Technological building ground grouting has been completed.
Assembling of the Arch West part (before 2st jecking):
Metal structures assembled in total – 6,572.52 tons.
05/19/2014 Western part of the Arch was lowered and fixed in the locking devices with transfer of 100% of the load on the foundation.
Foundations in the Arch service area:
Design volume of concrete – 11,795.73 m3, placed – 6,969.7 m3(59.08%); Design amount of rebars - 2,447.009 tons, rebar fabrication – 1,852.155 tons (75.69%).
Construction of the CFA piles (south foundation):
As per the design – 216 piles; completed till design – 212 piles (98.15%)
