Within the NSC Project at the construction site the following works are being performed:

- Erection of Arch steelwork:

* Installation of the following main systems:
   • Power supply system;
   • Ventilation, gas purification and conditioning;
   • Fire safety system;
   • Water supply and sewerage system;
   • Communication and industrial TV system;
   • Physical protection and access control system;
   • Integrated management and control system;
   • System of internal and transport connection;
   • Radiation monitoring system;
* Work to prepare and to test the main cranes system is underway;
* Completion of work on external and internal cladding arrangement;
* Arch ventilation system (installation of air ducts and ventilation equipment in the north ventilation centre, south ventilation centre and technological building);
* Works on installation of the sealing membrane are underway.

- Technological building and auxiliary facilities:

* Technological building (TB) — work on arrangement of the eastern part of the building façade is close to completion. Installation of the cable ducts and cable laying. Installation of Fire Alarm system. Installation of ventilation system air ducts. Work on grinding, pre-coating, coating, pouring, painting of floors, walls and ceilings inside the building. Installation of internal networks pipelines, systems, metal constructions. Preparation for RAW containers grippers testing using the 20 tons crane;
* Electrical Equipment Building (EEB) — installation of the Fire Alarm System, installation of the electrical equipment. Work has started to install the hot water supply and heat supply systems;
* Access Gateway for Fire brigades — installation of internal pipelines networks, arrangement of the external facade;
* Fire Extinguishing Pump Station — the electrical works are underway;
* Sewage treatment facilities and pump station of storm water drainage — installation of treatment facilities tanks. Backfilling with sand with a layer-by-layer compaction, preparation for testing.

- Works on arranging the NSC internal and external space:

* Installation of fire and household water supply pipelines;
* Arrangement of the site of southern gallery hinged bearing in the Turbine Hall: Turbine Hall light roof dismantling is underway;
* Construction of roads in Local zone — 85%.

Spent Fuel Processing Facility (SFPF):

- Installation of the crane SFP-CR-01 encoder support is completed.
- Installation of sensors and supports for video cameras at SFP-CR-07 is completed.
- Installation of inserts for manipulators and protective manipulators covers.
- Confirmation of acceptance of the machine installation for cutting machine discs replacement has been obtained. Welding of welding joints is completed.
- Distribution and adjusting  of CMDA automation panels of FGDS equipment.
- Installation of IAEA cabinet’s equipment is underway.
- Top coating of the premises.
- Marking of technological pipelines.
- Installation of primary fire extinguishing tools.

The following activities were also performed at the facility:

- Routine work on the construction site arrangement, such as: weeding of gravel coatings, grass cutting, watering, maintaining the cleanliness of asphalt coatings.
- Compilation of executive and hand-over documents.
- Development of test programs for technological units and systems.
- Development of training programs for ChNPP staff.
- Pre-commissioning works on the main technological equipment and auxiliary systems.
- Individual testing of video surveillance for the technological process.
- Individual testing of flow and exhaust general exchange ventilation systems.
- Preliminary autonomous testing of STPCM  of SRW, TP, DWSC management system.
- Individual testing of the 119 MIS-LD-04 lifting room gates.
- Individual (separate) testing of physical and radiation control systems is underway.

The general Contractor of the project is Holtec. Works at the site are being performed by Holtec subcontractors: CDI, UTEM, UTB, ZEM, EPI, BEM, Kranservis, Konditsioner. In total 197 persons were engaged in the works. 1 unit of lorry-loading, earth-moving and lifting machines were also used for fulfilling tasks at the site.
